PDFs are useful because they are compatible on almost any platform or software, and maintain their original formatting. However, the drawback of PDFs is they cannot be easily edited. 1.) Old file
Maybe you got a new computer or accidentally deleted an old document, and for whatever reason you only have access to the PDF version of a file.
